Before Your Appointment
Your appointment is coming up quick!
Please read through this, it has important information.
Also, if you have not sent me your ideas yet for your appointment please do so as soon as possible or we may need to reschedule.
If you need to reschedule please try to do so 48 hours before your appointment.
Your deposit will be forfeit and you will be asked to leave a new one in the following situations:
-Not showing up the day of appointment/no call no show
-Canceling appointment
-More than 20 minutes late to appointment
-Rescheduling more than 3 times
*I accept cash, Venmo, Zelle and tap to pay cards
*I no longer take PayPal
*Cash is of course king but do not feel obligated to bring cash
*For touch up appointments, I do guarantee my work but only up to 3 months from the date I did the tattoo
Here's a few other things you should do to prepare for your new tattoo:
-Please care for the area being tattooed beforehand! Moisturize and in some cases exfoliate the area getting tattooed for a week leading up to your appointment.
-Be sure to avoid any cuts, burns, scratches, etc. in the area getting tattooed.
-Stay hydrated. Make sure you drink plenty of water
-Eat well beforehand
-Wear appropriate clothing for the area being tattooed and be comfortable, you will be here for a while.
-Avoid thinning your blood. This means no alcohol or other drugs or substances that may thin your blood for at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you are drunk you will not be tattooed and you will forfeit your deposit.
-If you are on any medications, please let me know. Some medications may result in a reschedule, as they may interfere with the healing or tattoo process.
-Avoid getting a sunburn on the area being tattooed.
-If you are feeling unwell please reschedule your appointment. Your immune system needs to focus on fighting off whatever you may have. Getting tattooed while being sick increases the risk of healing complications and infection.
-I no longer recommend numbing creams/products for tattoo sessions.
-Please bring in whatever you need to get through your appointment. You may bring snacks, a pillow, blanket, tablet, etc. I just want you to be comfortable. :)
-I no longer have stuffed animals or anything to squeeze. You may bring your own BUT make sure it is clean.
-You may bring a friend to your appointment. We no longer have a full waiting area but I do have a guest chair.
-The first 2 weeks (in some cases even longer) after getting your tattoo avoid sun exposure and soaking your tattoo. It will most definitely cause healing complications/possible infections. Be sure you can always care for your tattoo if needed. You may be wrapped with a RECOVERY DERM SHIELD bandage before leaving the studio, but this isn't a guarantee you won't have aftercare to deal with.
I also have a liquid bandage I can use for clients with adhesive allergies.
